The ABU Technology organised a three-part webinar series on 1-3 July 2020 which focussed on the applications of cloud technologies in the broadcasting environment.

The sessions also looked at how broadcasters can leverage cloud technologies and what areas would be the most beneficial to implement both in production and distribution.

The session topics were cloud automation playout and cloud-based signal processing, how to manage contribution and distribution network in the cloud, and modern-day cloud broadcasting and service features.

Over 100 participants joined the sessions. Experts from the ABU industry partners, Ideal Systems, Globecast and Benchmark Systems Singapore, presented the sessions.
