We are pleased to inform you that the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Technology Department has been organising a multi-level training course on Engineering Fundamentals for Broadcasters from 26 July 2021 onwards.
The course aims to provide basic engineering fundamentals for broadcast engineers and technicians who are at the beginning of their careers. It focuses on fundamentals of audio, video, IT and communication systems, engineering techniques and applications. It will also facilitate participants to learn about broadcast operations, and current trends & advancements in broadcast technologies. The knowledge gained will help participants to build confidence in operating in an evolving media value chain at their workplace. The course is prepared as multi-level. And after successfully completing all levels, a course completion certificate will be issued to participants.

The content of the course is designed for an audience from ABU Members only and includes Technicians, Engineers and Managers working with Radio and TV Broadcasters or with the media industry specifically in the engineering/technical field .
Enrollment is by nomination only. Please contact the appointed technical liaison officer to the ABU from your organization for nomination soon as there are limited places available.
