The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) is pleased to announce that the 2027 Asiavision Coordinators’ Meeting will be held jointly with the Intellectual Property & Legal Committee (IPLC) Conference & Meeting from 27-28 January 2027 in Hong Kong.

This joint gathering is scheduled to take place at the Novotel Century Hong Kong, located in the vibrant district of Wan Chai. The event is co-hosted with the Information Services Department (ISD) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).

By bringing together Asiavision news coordinators and legal/IP professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region, this collaborative conference provides a unified platform to address evolving industry challenges, exchange insights, and explore the intersection of media, news operations, intellectual property rights, and broadcasting law.

Online registration is expected to open in mid-November. Schedule details, speaker announcements, and accommodation information will be released on the official event webpage closer to the date.
