RTB seeks improvements on three fronts to meet rising expectations

Amidst rapid advancements in information technology, the broadcasting landscape has undergone continual change and people’s expectations of services in the industry continue to rise.

To address these challenges, Radio Television Brunei (RTB) is currently planning and aiming for improvement in three fields of excellence – operations, productivity and organisation.

These three fields were highlighted by RTB Director Haji Md Suffian bin Haji Bungsu in his speech as the guest of honour at the opening of RTB Carnival 2019, currently running at The Airport Mall for two days.

On the field of operation excellence, Haji Md Suffian said, “We have made a number of important achievements towards raising the quality of technical broadcasting, including the phasing out of our analogue television services and full migration to digital HD television on January 1, 2018 – making Brunei Darussalam the first country in ASEAN to fully migrate to digital broadcasting.”
