Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) has participated as a media partner in the second edition of the BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening the presence and use of the Arabic language across the media and knowledge sectors.
Held at the Student Center in Education City under the theme “With Our Ideas, We Build,” the two-day gathering is an initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development.
As media partner, QMC is supporting efforts to extend the reach of the gathering and its initiatives to a wider audience, while promoting projects that contribute to the development and enrichment of Arabic-language media content.
A key feature of QMC’s participation is its Media Encyclopedia, a specialised knowledge project designed to provide a comprehensive Arabic-language resource for media professionals, researchers and others interested in the industry.
The encyclopedia documents media concepts, terminology and theories, alongside information on prominent media figures and influential institutions. The material is presented through an academic approach that places media knowledge within its wider intellectual and historical context.
QMC official spokesperson Ali Issa said the partnership reflects the Corporation’s interest in initiatives that strengthen the Arabic language within the media landscape and create new opportunities for its use across professional and knowledge-based fields.
He also highlighted QMC’s commitment to projects that enrich Arabic media content, with the Media Encyclopedia providing a specialised reference that contributes to documenting and developing media knowledge in Arabic.
Through its participation in BilAraby 2026, QMC continues to combine its role as a media organisation with initiatives aimed at supporting Arabic-language content, knowledge-sharing and professional development.
