China Media Group (CMG) has partnered with Eastern Private High School (ELBC) in Yangon to launch a science initiative aimed at encouraging greater interest in science and technology among young people in Myanmar.

The initiative includes Science Club activities as well as the introduction of the “Deep Blue Resonance” creative collection programme, jointly organised by CMG and the China Science and Technology Museum.

Through the programme, young participants are being invited to explore the deep-sea world through paintings and other creative works, as well as submit science-related questions. Selected works will be displayed at the China Science and Technology Museum, with prizes awarded to their creators. Experts will also respond to selected questions submitted by participants.

More than 500 teachers and students attended the launch event, where participants watched educational videos featuring rocket launches and deep-sea exploration by Haidou-1. The initiative combines education, creativity and media to introduce young audiences to developments in science and technology, while encouraging curiosity and greater engagement with scientific subjects.

Through its collaboration with ELBC, CMG is extending its educational outreach to young audiences in Myanmar and supporting opportunities for cross-border knowledge and cultural exchange.
