Public Service Media (PSM) has been appointed the official media partner for Vara Expo 2026, strengthening its role in supporting a major employment and economic initiative in the Maldives.

The partnership was formalised through an agreement between PSM and the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology on 22 September.

As the official media partner, PSM will support the promotion of Vara Expo 2026 and help provide the public with information and updates surrounding the event through its media platforms. Vara Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 November at Central Park in Hulhumalé, bringing together government institutions, private-sector organisations, businesses and job seekers.

The expo is designed to create a platform connecting employers with potential employees while providing participants with information on employment opportunities and career development.

According to the organisers, participating companies will also have opportunities to showcase their businesses, products and services, creating greater visibility for organisations while encouraging engagement between employers and the wider community.

Through its role as official media partner, PSM will help extend the reach of the initiative and raise public awareness of the opportunities available through the expo.

The partnership reflects PSM’s wider public-service role in supporting initiatives that provide useful information and opportunities to communities across the Maldives.
