Mediacorp Named TV Network of the Year at Cannes Awards

29 Sep 2026

Singapore’s Mediacorp has been named **TV Network of the Year** at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards 2026, receiving the prestigious Blue Dolphin alongside four awards for its programmes.

The recognition marks Mediacorp’s third major international broadcaster honour this year, following its Broadcaster of the Year wins at both the World Media Festivals and the New York Festivals TV & Film. Mediacorp’s four programme awards at Cannes comprised two Gold Dolphins and two Silver Dolphins, doubling the two awards it received at the festival last year.

CNA productions One “Orphan” Every Hour and Walk the Line: ICE Nation received Gold Dolphins in the Human Concerns and Social Issues and Political Issues categories respectively. Two further productions received Silver Dolphins. *Chiang Kai-shek: Shadow Across the Strait* was recognised in the History and Personalities/Portraits category, while *The Mark of Empire: Kingdoms of the Sea* received an award in the Ethnology and Sociology category.

Another production, Bones of Contention, produced by Elefant Films, received a Finalist Diploma in the Environment, Ecology and Sustainability category. Spanning history, culture, politics and social issues, the recognised programmes highlight Mediacorp and CNA’s focus on factual storytelling and bringing Asian perspectives and stories to audiences internationally.

The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards recognise excellence in corporate films, online media and documentaries from around the world. Mediacorp’s latest success adds to a significant year of international recognition for the Singapore media organisation and its content.
