Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT), through its TRT Academy, is offering a specialised training programme designed to develop professional skills in radio broadcasting and podcast production.

The 31-hour Radio Broadcasting and Podcast Training programme, scheduled to begin on 12 October 2026 in Ankara, combines established radio production practices with contemporary approaches to digital audio storytelling.

Held at TRT’s headquarters, the programme is led by TRT producers Kurtuluş Özyazıcı and Filiz Özdemir Arıcıoğlu, providing participants with practical insights drawn from professional broadcasting experience.

The training focuses on developing audio content from the initial idea through to production, helping participants understand how to create engaging programmes, connect with audiences and adapt storytelling techniques across traditional radio and podcast platforms.

The initiative reflects TRT’s continued investment in media education and professional development, particularly as digital audio platforms create new opportunities for broadcasters and independent content producers.

Through TRT Academy, the broadcaster aims to strengthen production capabilities and support the next generation of audio professionals in an increasingly diverse media environment.
