Mediacorp’s English-language radio station 987 has introduced an interactive Halloween escape room experience in Singapore, bringing radio personalities and storytelling into a new entertainment format.

Developed in collaboration with Xcape Singapore, the experience, titled Signal Hijacked: The Purge Protocol, incorporates audio recordings, visual effects and appearances by seven 987 personalities to create an immersive environment for participants.

The initiative takes the station’s engagement with listeners beyond traditional broadcasting and digital platforms, allowing audiences to interact with familiar radio voices in a different setting.

Running until 1 November 2026, the experience combines elements of radio production, entertainment and interactive storytelling, offering fans a new way to connect with the station and its presenters.

The project reflects Mediacorp’s efforts to explore creative audience engagement opportunities and extend its radio brands into experiential entertainment.
