China Media Group Unveils 2027 Brand Development Initiative

14 Oct 2026

China Media Group (CMG) has launched its 2027 Brand Strengthening China Project in Beijing, introducing a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening brand development through digital innovation, artificial intelligence and trusted information services.

The launch saw CMG unveil 118 creative and innovative projects developed by 13 of its programme centres, outlining its plans to expand brand communication and introduce new approaches to engaging audiences in 2027.

A key highlight was the introduction of a national trusted brand data platform, scheduled to go live on 1 January 2027. The platform will provide government agencies, industry organisations, businesses and the public with reliable, traceable and authoritative brand information.

Drawing on CMG’s extensive media resources and international communication network, the initiative aims to improve access to trusted information while supporting businesses in building stronger brand identities and reaching wider audiences.

CMG also announced plans to integrate artificial intelligence into its communication activities, exploring how emerging technologies can improve the effectiveness and reach of brand messaging.

Additional initiatives include a campaign to encourage consumer spending and programmes supporting rural development, reflecting CMG’s efforts to connect media innovation with wider economic and social development.

Through the 2027 Brand Strengthening China Project, CMG aims to combine its broadcasting expertise, digital capabilities and technological resources to create new opportunities for brand communication and information sharing.
