Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) has recognised the next generation of media professionals through the 12th TRT Future Communicators Competition, highlighting the creativity, innovation and storytelling abilities of young communicators.

The awards ceremony, held on 14 October 2026 at Türkiye’s Ministry of National Education Council Hall, celebrated outstanding contributions from aspiring media professionals across a range of communication disciplines. Organised under the theme “To Value Young People Is to Value the Future,” the competition featured 15 categories, alongside a special category commemorating 15 July.

The event was attended by Türkiye’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, who emphasised the importance of supporting young people and encouraging fresh perspectives in the media industry.

Through initiatives such as the Future Communicators Competition, TRT continues to provide a platform for emerging talent, encouraging creativity and supporting the development of future media professionals.
