The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) has reaffirmed its commitment to international media cooperation following a meeting with representatives of the Radio and Television Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China, on 30 October 2026.
The delegation was received at VOV’s National Radio Centre in Hanoi by Deputy Director-General Ngo Minh Hien, who welcomed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Vietnamese and Chinese broadcasting organisations.
During the discussions, VOV highlighted the positive outcomes of its existing collaboration with Chinese media organisations, particularly those in Guangxi. Both sides recognised the importance of broadcasting partnerships in promoting cultural understanding and closer people-to-people connections.
A notable example of this cooperation is the annual Vietnam–China Friendship Singing Festival, jointly organised to celebrate cultural ties and encourage exchanges between the two countries.
The meeting reflected VOV’s continued efforts to develop international broadcasting relationships, strengthen cultural exchanges and expand opportunities for cooperation with regional media partners.
