Ikegami to Showcase Next-Generation UNICAM Range at IBC 2026

2 Sep 2026

Ikegami will use IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, taking place from 11–14 September, to introduce its latest UNICAM products to the European market. Visitors to Stand 12.A31 will be able to explore the company’s newest cameras, viewfinders, camera controllers and monitors.

A key highlight will be a new constant-aperture variable neutral density (VND) filter function for the UHK-X700 and UHK-X750 UNICAM XE cameras. The technology allows operators to maintain a fixed lens aperture while adjusting exposure through the VND filter, providing greater creative control over depth of field.

Ikegami will also showcase two new viewfinders. The VFE-P07D combines a monocular OLED viewfinder with an adjustable 3.5-inch TFT LCD monitor, while the VFE-P711AD features a high-resolution 7-inch OLED display designed to provide clear visibility in bright environments and support high-frame-rate production.

The UNICAM XE range will form the centrepiece of the exhibition. Designed for HDR, high-frame-rate, IP and UHD production, the range includes portable, studio and wireless camera options. Ikegami will also demonstrate its UNICAM HDK-X500 multiformat camera system, which offers a pathway from HD to 4K-UHD production.

The company will further present its UHL-X40 remote camera, designed for applications including sports, theatre, weather monitoring and point-of-view production, alongside the compact UHL-43 and UHL-43HD 4K-UHD camera systems.

Together, the products highlight Ikegami’s continued focus on providing flexible imaging and production solutions for the evolving broadcast and media industry.
