Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has launched AI Production, a dedicated hub supporting the use of generative AI across content planning, production consulting, workflow development, quality control and staff training.

The facility will support KBS’s forthcoming historical drama Great King Munmu, using AI to create large-scale battle scenes, previsualise dangerous sequences and generate visual effects—improving safety, efficiency and visual quality.

AI Production complements KAIROS, KBS’s in-house AI platform, creating an integrated AI ecosystem for its staff and production teams.

KBS is also piloting AI-generated voices, developed with the consent of its announcers and journalists, for radio news, narration and selected reports on News 12.
