KIRDARC Nepal has stepped up its humanitarian response following devastating floods in Nepal, with its Emergency Response Team reaching affected communities within 24 hours of the disaster.
Working alongside Mission East and local authorities, KIRDARC teams visited Dhunge Bazar in Bidur Municipality, Nuwakot, to assess the impact of the floods and speak directly with families whose homes and livelihoods had been affected.
The rapid response is helping identify the most urgent needs on the ground and guide the delivery of assistance to vulnerable families. The effort highlights KIRDARC Nepal’s longstanding focus on working with communities during times of crisis and strengthening local resilience.
Through its partnership with Mission East, KIRDARC is continuing to support affected communities as they begin the difficult process of recovery.
