The National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) of Papua New Guinea participated in the ABU Content Festival (CON-FEST) for the first time, marking a significant milestone in the broadcaster’s engagement with the Asia-Pacific media community. Held in Kuala Lumpur, the event brought together broadcasters, content creators, producers, and industry leaders to explore emerging trends in storytelling, media innovation, and content development.
Representing NBC, Acting Managing Director Kora Nou said the festival provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from regional experts, and build stronger partnerships with fellow broadcasters. He noted that the experience offered fresh insights into content creation, audience engagement, and the evolving media landscape, which will help strengthen NBC’s future programming and digital initiatives.
NBC’s participation reflects its continued commitment to enhancing professional capacity, embracing innovation, and fostering greater collaboration with broadcasters across the Asia-Pacific region through the ABU network.
