The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), in collaboration with IPPTAR, officially opened the OTT Engineering: Content Delivery & Streaming Infrastructure Workshop yesterday, 11 August 2026 at Dewan Dinamik, IPPTAR, Kuala Lumpur.
The opening session featured welcoming remarks by Mr Mohammad Yusari Ameer Bin Mohd Yusoff, Head of Academic, IPPTAR who welcomed participants from ABU member organisations and underscored the importance of collaboration and knowledge-sharing in keeping pace with the rapidly evolving OTT and streaming landscape.
Over the next few days, broadcasting and media professionals from across the Asia-Pacific region and Malaysia will explore the latest developments in OTT engineering, content delivery, streaming infrastructure, network technologies and the wider digital media ecosystem. The workshop provides a valuable platform for participants to exchange ideas, gain practical insights and strengthen professional networks with industry experts and peers from across the region.
