Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) and Iran have discussed opportunities to strengthen media relations and cooperation between the two countries.

QMC Chairman Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar, Ali Salehabadi, in Doha on 2 September. During the meeting, discussions focused on media relations between Qatar and Iran and ways to further enhance cooperation in the sector.

The talks reflect the importance of continued dialogue and engagement between media organisations and institutions across the region, creating opportunities to strengthen professional ties and encourage greater exchange. The meeting also underscores QMC’s continued engagement with international partners as it works to foster stronger media relationships and cooperation beyond Qatar.
