Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) has launched a new five-part micro-documentary series, “Eastern Wisdom, World Practice,” exploring how traditional Chinese wisdom is being applied to contemporary social and economic challenges.
Launched globally on 7 August 2026, the series features stories from different parts of China and examines practical approaches to issues including sustainable development, cultural preservation, community development and modernisation.
The production combines documentary storytelling with contemporary digital formats, presenting local experiences and perspectives for an international audience. Through the series, JSBC aims to highlight examples of how traditional values and knowledge can contribute to addressing modern challenges.
The global launch forms part of JSBC’s efforts to strengthen international communication and bring Chinese stories and perspectives to audiences beyond China through innovative media formats. The series is being distributed across multiple international platforms, extending its reach beyond traditional television broadcasting.
