Australian broadcasters and audio creators delivered a strong performance at the 2026 New York Festivals Radio Awards, with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, SBS, and News Corp Australia securing multiple honours across podcasting, investigative journalism, and audio storytelling categories.

Among the major winners was News Corp Australia’s Dear Rachelle podcast, which received the prestigious National Press Club Award alongside several Silver and Bronze Tower awards. Meanwhile, ABC Audio Studios and ABC Sydney earned Gold Tower awards for productions including Unravel: Huntman and Expanse: Nowhere Man. SBS Australia also received recognition for its audio productions, highlighting the growing strength of Australian storytelling on the global stage.
