Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has been appointed the official broadcaster for the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, further strengthening its role as Malaysia’s leading public service broadcaster for major international sporting events. Following its successful coverage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, RTM will once again bring world-class sporting action to audiences nationwide through free-to-air television, RTMKlik and its digital platforms.

RTM’s broadcast plans include nearly 100 hours of coverage throughout the Games, featuring live broadcasts of the opening and closing ceremonies, daily live competition coverage and highlights programmes showcasing the performances of Malaysian athletes. The extensive coverage aims to ensure that Malaysians can follow the nation’s sporting achievements while enjoying comprehensive access to one of the Commonwealth’s premier multi-sport events.
