Chairman of Qatar Media Corporation (QMC), Sheikh Hamad bin Thamer Al-Thani, met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to the State of Qatar, Álvaro Renedo Zalba, to discuss opportunities to strengthen media cooperation between Qatar and Spain.

The meeting explored ways to support and further develop collaboration in the media field, alongside a number of issues and topics of mutual interest.

The discussions reflect QMC’s continued engagement with international partners and its role in fostering greater cooperation and exchange across the media sector. The meeting also highlighted the importance of strengthening relationships between media organisations and institutions as the industry continues to evolve.

The meeting was held in Doha on 26 August 2026.
