National Radio of Kampuchea (RNK) joined the ABU as an Additional Full Member in February 2022.
RNK is a state-owned radio station that aims to serve as a bridge between the government’s solutions and the people’s concerns.
Launched in 1974, RNK is the only AM station in Cambodia that is deemed to be a national broadcaster with frequency AM918KHz. It has the widest coverage in terms of signal propagation, reaching an estimated 95 percent of the population.
Its primary vision is to serve the public interest with quality, balanced, up-to-date programmes that can provide rapid information and facilitate dialogue between government, citizens, civil society and the private sector.
Currently on air for 19 hours a day, RNK broadcasts and produces useful programmes, up to date news and features, and live talk shows for the audiences.
Beside broadcasting via an analogue platform, RNK also has its own digital platforms such as its website, YouTube channel, Facebook page, Telegram channel and many other popular social media platforms to serve the people in this digital era.
