Radio Today is the first private FM radio station in Bangladesh. We broadcast news, weather updates, traffic updates, social awareness announcements, calls for social integration, social-and community-building announcements, special programme for all international & UN observation days, music, talk shows and dramas.
Radio Today broadcasts daily a dedicated one-hour show to highlight different environmental issues. Radio Today’s broadcasts covers a 100km-radius from Dhaka, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Sylhet, Khulna, Bogra, Barishal and Mymansingh. It has eight stations in Bangladesh, and covers about two-thirds of Bangladesh, reaching about 120 million people. Radio Today and Voice of America also jointly produce English and Bangla news daily.
Radio Today achieved Certificate of Appreciation from VOA; “Superbrand” 2009 – 2011; awarded as “Best FM Radio” & 9th different category out of 20 in BPC award 2010; “HSBC – The Daily Star” Climate Award 2011; and UNICEF “Meena Media Award-2011” For Radio Journalism.
