Call for entries for Prix Jeunesse

Prix Jeunesse has sounded the call for entries for the next Prix Jeunesse International which will be held on 1-6 June in Munich, Germany.

Prix Jeunesse International explores and celebrates the highest quality television programmes aimed at two- to 15-year-olds. For the festival, broadcasters and production houses are encouraged to send outstanding productions for children and young people.

The 2012 festival theme is “Watch, learn and grow with children’s TV” but entries do not necessarily have to be related to the theme. The submission deadline for programme entries is 12 December 2011.

The content conference on children’s TV also offers screenings, stimulating international discussion groups and informative new research on children and media. The deadline for registration is 30 April 2012.
