Asiavision launches advisory service
Asiavision has launched an advisory service under which it provides fund for training and consultancies for members of the news exchange who request help.

The ABU News Group, which sets policy for Asiavision, has set aside US$10,000 in Asiavision funds annually for the service.

Known as the Asiavision Advisory Service, it covers both editorial and technical areas. Members can seek assistance in any field from, say, improving their newsroom to help with uplinking to satellites.

The service is similar to those already offered by the ABU’s Programme and Technical Departments but is available only to Asiavision members.
