Caspionet starts broadcasting in North America

Kazakh national satellite channel Caspionet recently began open transmission to North America via the DTH platform of the Galaxy 19 satellite.

This is a result of an agreement between JSC “Khabar Agency” and GlobeCast, which provides satellite transmission services worldwide.

Since 19 September, Caspionet channel’s programmes have been available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Dominica, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Kitts and Nevis, as well as Jamaica.

As part of GlobeCast’s WorldTV platform of the Galaxy 19 satellite, Caspionet now is part of the largest market offer of foreign channels in the US.

The Caspionet channel also broadcasts from the Hotbird-8 satellite to the countries of Europe, central Asia, Transcaucasia, Middle East and northern Africa.

It is broadcast online at caspionet.kz/eng/online/ and available for viewing on smart devices.
