Korea’s KBS donates OB van to Cambodia
Friday 21 Oct 2011
Korea’s public broadcaster, KBS, has donated an analogue outside broadcast van to its Cambodian counterpart, TVK.
The OB van will arrive in Cambodia on 31 October. Last May, through KBS’ initiative, it was agreed between the two companies that KBS would contribute its analogue OB van to TVK.
The van contains over 120 items of broadcast equipment including cameras, which have been inspected by KBS technicians. KBS technical experts will also go to Cambodia to provide TVK with support on installation as well as on-site training.
KBS expects the van will boost the production capability of TVK and enable the broadcaster to provide diverse programs for its Cambodian audience. KBS hopes to strengthen ties with TVK and expand cooperative relations.
