Senior representatives of Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK, and its Korean counterpart, KBS, have met in Tokyo to discuss cooperation in the year ahead.
The 31st cooperative meeting between the two broadcasters took place from 11 to 14 October.
The KBS delegates, headed by Ko Dae-Young, Executive Managing Director of News and Sports, held wide-ranging talks with their Japanese counterparts.
Meeting in small groups, the two sides exchanged views on proposed projects such as co-production of an art programme and cooperation on disaster warning broadcasting systems.
Mr Ko also met Matsumoto Masayuki, President of NHK, and agreed on the need to expand cooperation.
