RTM and Latin Media Corp team up for telenovela

Latin Media Corp in the US is to begin on its third co-production with Malaysia’s RTM network – a telenovela titled Only You…Sofea Hannah, WorldScreen.com reports

During the recent Mipcom in Cannes, France, Latin Media Corp officially announced that it will soon start filming the telenovela about a single woman who manages a boutique with her cousins and is set up with a charming man.

The series is expected to premiere in 2012.

“This is a telenovela rich with content,” said José Escalante, Director of Latin Media Corp. “One more time, we are betting on a great love story with great content of mystery and suspense.

“We are also showing how rich the Malaysian culture is.”
