KBS and VTV to expand cooperation

Korean broadcaster KBS signed a memorandum of understanding with Vietnam Television (VTV), the national broadcaster of Vietnam, on 5 December at the KBS headquarters in Seoul.
KBS and VTV have been working together on co-productions and the exchange of programmes. The signing of the memorandum is expected to further expand the working relationship between the two broadcasters.
At the ceremony, Tran Binh Minh, President of VTV, who headed the VTV delegation, and Dr Kim In-Kyu, President & CEO of KBS, also pledged to work on a jointly organised concert planned for March 2012 in Hanoi, Vietnam, that will mark the 20th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Korea and Vietnam, as well as co-productions and exchange of documentaries.
