New MD for Singapore Media Academy

Singapore’s leading media company, MediaCorp, has appointed Ong Lay Hong as the Managing Director of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore Media Academy (SMA).

Her appointment takes effect from 1 January next year.

Ms Ong will also continue in her current position as Managing Director of MediaCorp’s Suria and Vasantham channels and EagleVision, a content producer for the two channels.

The current MD of SMA, Leo Goh, will rejoin MediaCorp’s Human Resources Department.

SMA was established in 2005 and offers training, educational and consultancy services to the media industry both locally and regionally.
