ABU calls for nominations for its first ever Green Broadcast Engineering Award

The ABU will recognize engineering contributions of an outstanding nature in development, implementation and/or promotion green technology in the broadcasting industry in the Asia-Pacific region.

The inaugural Green Broadcast Engineering Award is a partnership between the ABU and KOBA and is open to individuals and organisations in all segments of the broadcasting industry, including the staff or former staff of ABU members and ABU affiliate members within the Union’s region.

The award, comprising a trophy and a cash prize, will be presented at an award ceremony in the opening session of this year’s Technical Committee meeting taking place during the ABU General Assembly, on 12 October in Seoul, Korea.

We encourage you to identify suitable individuals from your organisation and to provide us with nominations for the award. The nomination form for the award can be found by clicking on the link below and the closing date for nominations to reach the ABU is 30 June 2012.
