France 24 now available in Malaysia

France 24 has concluded a new distribution agreement in Asia and launches today on HyppTV, a Telekom Malaysia IPTV platform.

FRANCE 24, (French language version) will be available on channel 128.

Brice Bertrand, Asia-Pacific Distribution Director for the broadcaster said “this agreement with Telekom Malaysia, is a crucial step for our development in Asia and we are sincerely delighted to be the first French channel to broadcast in Malaysia. Responding to a dynamic Asian TV market where the audience is eager for a new tone in international news, we make every effort to ensure that all the countries in the continent can get FRANCE 24 as quickly and as simply as possible”.

FRANCE 24 – media of the Audiovisuel Extérieur de la France group – is the first international news channel that offers a French perspective on world events. It broadcasts worldwide on a 24/7 basis on three channels, in French, English and Arabic.
