Regional WA gets connected

Many out-lying areas in Western Australia still receive only limited digital TV coverage. But this is changing. Broadcast Australia’s 18-month program to deliver a full suite of digital channels to regional WA is now well underway with the first site connected last July and completion of the program expected this August.

Meanwhile, BAI’s unique capabilities enabled Australian cycling fans to access unparalleled coverage on SBS during the most recent Tour de France. BAI was launched last year as an umbrella organization to bring together the operations of Broadcast Australia, Hostworks, The Bridge Networks, Radio Frequency Engineering Ltd (RFE), Transit Wireless, and Airwave Solutions. By leveraging the specialized expertise of each company, BAI provides end-users with the right platform to communicate – whatever their communication needs may be.
