MediaCorp appoints new Managing Director of Singapore Media Academy

MediaCorp has announced the appointment of Ms Rabiatul Adawiah as the Managing Director (MD) of Singapore Media Academy (SMA) with effect from 18 June 2012.

In her role as MD SMA, Rabia will report to Ms Yeo Mui Sung, MediaCorp CFO and lead the SMA team to operate a viable media education business, working with the Workforce Development Agency and other government agencies for funding and accreditation.  She will also explore training opportunities in overseas markets. 

Rabia is a veteran in the Education Sector in Singapore, having made significant contribution to the early childhood education industry during the last 16 years. 

Prior to joining MediaCorp she was the Managing Director of Knowledge Universe. Rabia also brings with her a wealth of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Operations and Curriculum Development.
