MediaCorp platforms go ‘Green’ to kick-start the annual Saving Gaia month
MediaCorp key media platforms logos adopt a green hue today, the symbolic colour for the environment as part of the annual Saving Gaia campaign to coincide with the World Environment Day.
The temporary colour change will be reflected in MediaCorp’s popular television channel logos (Channel 5, 8, U, Suria, okto, Vasantham and Channel NewsAsia); logos on websites (mediacorp.sg, channelnewsasia.com, TODAYonline, xinmsn); and the mastheads for TODAY, 8 DAYS and i-Weekly.
This year’s advertising campaign, ‘Save my World’ puts the spotlight on environmental issues with Saving Gaia programme as the main highlight. The Saving Gaia documentary series returns on Wednesdays from 6 June on Channel NewsAsia, focus on sustainable living in Asia.
In addition, MediaCorp’s television, radio and print platforms will run green programmes, features and tips, all geared towards getting viewers, listeners and readers excited about doing their part for the environment.
