France Télévisions, Radio-Canada sign framework agreement

Public broadcasters France Télévisions and Radio-Canada have signed up a three-year framework agreement designed to encourage programming co-productions and strengthen co-operation, www.rapidtvnews.com reports.

The convention set up the frame for more common productions and projects developments. Such a work in common should express itself in various TV genres, whether drama, animation, documentary, news or sports.

A new collaboration has already been started over a TV series project from Making Prod, entitled Les Echangistes featuring Paris and Montreal families exchanging home during holidays. The co-operation also aims at enriching the TV experience on all platforms.
