ABU Technical Committee Meeting 2015

27-28 October, Istanbul

  

 

The ABU Technical Commitee Meeting 2015 will be hosted by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation and will be held at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel on 27 and 28 October 2015.

 

Changes have been introduced to the schedule this year and as usual we kindly request members to send us your Status Reports and Information Documents.

The Technical Committee meeting will be held on 24-25 October in Macau.  The annual meetings this year is hosted by Teledifusão de Macau (TDM) and will be held at the Conrad Macau.

Please note that 15 September is the deadline for visa applications and hotel bookings so please register soon to secure the hotel rooms at the special ABU rates. 

We look forward to your contribution of information documents on topics of current interest.  Selected documents (all if possible) will be presented during the Interactive Session on Exchange of Technical Information.  The aim here is to provide improved exposure and trigger discussions around these contributions.  Presenters of selected papers will be required to prepare a short PowerPoint of perhaps 3 to 4 slides.

Status Report
We are most interested to gather data on the progress of digitalisation of radio and TV throughout the ABU region so we look forward to receiving your organisation’s status report. These reports will form the basis of interactive discussions on key issues identified from the reports received.
