ABU News and Technical Review now available on Android devices

You can now have instant access to the latest news on Asia-Pacific broadcasting anywhere in the world, at any time, in any place.

The magazines ABU News and ABU Technical Review are now available on Android-powered smart phones and tablets. All you have to do is download the apps for the magazines onto your Android device.

To download and install the apps, use your device to scan the QR codes from the front page of the ABU website at www.abu.org.my then allow installation of a non-market application to proceed when prompted. Once installed, the ABU News and Technical Review icons will appear in the application section.  A tap on one of them will launch the ABU magazine. 

The ABU hopes the new Android apps will prove popular not just with broadcasters and other media people, but with anyone who is interested in what is happening in the world of broadcasting and technology.  Work is under way to launch an ABU Newsletter app across all platforms for those readers who want instantly-available news.
