Shenzhen IPTV service launched in China

China Central Television’s national online TV station China Network TV (CNTV), Shenzhen Media Group (SZMG) and China Telecom’s Shenzhen branch have launched the Shenzhen IPTV service.

Shenzhen IPTV covers 73 live streaming channels, of which nine are HD and 64 are SD.

It also provides video-on-demand (VOD), playback, and other value-added services.

The VOD service consists of 13 channels, including news, sports, drama, fashion and entertainment, offering more than 20,000 hours of programming, with 500 hours of program updates per week.
