euronewsExpress app an answer for poor connections

Mobile devices equipped with the Android operating system can now get breaking news from even with minimal connections, with the launch of the euronews ultra-light app on Google Play.

Already available via iTunes, euronews EXPRESS can now be downloaded to all Android smartphones no matter how poor the network connection.

euronews claims EXPRESS is the lightest news app on the market, combining images and text for fast, optimised downloading.

They say that thanks to cache memory, the news, culture, business and sports stories can be viewed offline by those who want real-time news at their fingertips.

The app offers three ways of navigating the news:  News, with stories covered by euronews journalists in world news, sports, economics and culture; Flash, which is the latest news wires; and Editor’s Choice, which are headline stories selected by the editor.
