URTI offers a prize for love

Love is in the air – and the radio station that captures it best can win US$5,000.

Radio producers have until 16 September to submit entries to the annual International Radio and Television Union competition which this year has as its theme “Love”.

Last year more than 80 countries took part in the International URTI Radio Grand Prix, which allows any complying organisation to enter up to two programs.

The competition is open free of charge to any radio broadcasting organisation or association and institution which devotes itself to the audio-visual production.

Programs must be a maximum of 60 minutes and entered in the original version accompanied by a script in French or in English if the version is not in one of these two languages.

More information and entry forms can be obtained from the URTI Web site http://www.urti.org/.
