KBS & Shanghai Media Group seal partnership with MOU

Korea’s public broadcaster KBS signed an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Shanghai Media Group to promote program exchange, co-production and personnel exchange and to provide mutual assistance in reporting and news coverage.

Strengthening the cooperative relationship, the MOU is expected to expand and diversify the exchange between the two companies.

Shanghai Media Group is a multimedia company providing television and radio broadcasting, news and Internet services. It is one of the most influential media groups in China, whose core business is television broadcasting and related media entertainment services. The Group’s TV market share reaches up to 76%.

KBS has now signed MOU based cooperative relationships with fifty-nine institutions around the globe.
