Student from Uzbekistan wins Quiz on Korea

The final round of KBS’s popular ‘Quiz on Korea’ show culminated on 31 August with a student from Uzbekistan emerging as winner.

The quiz show, hosted by KBS in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Korea Foundation, held its preliminary rounds over the past three months, in twenty three countries to select finalists.

During the final held at KBS Hall in Seoul, general knowledge questions were asked about Korean history, culture, art and common knowledge.  From all the finalists, a student from Uzbekistan emerged as the winner.

The show, designed to promote understanding on Korea, will be broadcast by KBS at the end of September.
