China’s CBTG and Taiwan’s TVBS sign a bilateral cooperation agreement

Changsha Broadcast and Television Group (CBTG),China signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Taiwan’s cable television provider TVBS to start all-round bilateral cooperation in areas including production, programming, content exchange, marketing, new media and e-commerce.

The agreement will facilitate the two broadcasters’ program and personnel exchange, while presenting more opportunities and a brighter prospect for CBTG’s attempt to separate programme production from broadcasting.

Director of Changsha Broadcasting and Television Group, Zeng Xiong said that the cooperation is bound to promote TV program sharing and communication between mainland China and Taiwan and provide mutual market access for each other’s outstanding programs.
