Dragon TV’s Asian Wave reality show hits Asia

Shanghai’s Dragon TV (under the Shanghai Media Group), in cooperation with more than ten top Asian media partners and talent agencies including TBS and AMUSE in Japan, ASTRO in Malaysia, GMM in Thailand and StarHub in Singapore, officially announced the Asia Pacific launch of the region’s largest reality show, Asian Wave, in Singapore.

The launch of Asian Wave marks the first reality singing show to ever be held across Asia with such scale and reach. The objective of the programme is not only to create a platform of exchange for the region’s top singing artists, but also to discover a truly representative new Asian singer through stringent, professional-standard, realistic judging.

‘Asian Wave’ will premiere in Singapore on October 8 on StarHub. It will be simultaneously broadcast in other Asian countries including Japan, Korea, Thailand and Malaysia.
