CNA presents its Bridging Asia programme live & interactive

Singapore’s Channel NewsAsia (CNA) launched another season of its high profile programme Bridging Asia – the Singapore Debates, with a fresh format and more audience interaction.

In the new season, Bridging Asia will go live to debate five topics. Experts such as Professor Mark Thompson of the City University of HongKong, Tunku Abdul Aziz Ibrahim of Transparency International Malaysia, Xu Sitao of the Economist Group in China and Andrew Bruce of the International Organisation for Migration will lead the debates, moderated by Gaurav Keerthi, former president of the Debate Association Singapore.

Bridging Asia has built a highly interactive programme format for its studio audience and those watching from home. Studio participants can engage the panellists in a Q&A segment and help decide who wins the debates at the end of each session, while non-studio viewers can also ask questions and vote for their teams via the Bridging Asia microsite, as well as their smartphones.
