Malaysia’s Astro TVIQ expands its children’s programming slate

Malaysia’s Astro TVIQ has picked up more than 230 hours of children’s programming for the Asian region from Beyond Distribution, kidscreen.com reports.

The eductional channel bagged a total of 16 children’s shows, such as Kid Detectives, Toybox,Get Squiggling!, Buzzy Bee & Friends, Milly Molly,Lab Rats Challenge and Wild Animal Baby Explorers, among others. The deal was confirmed at MIPCOM earlier this month.

Astro TVIQ also renewed Backyard Science, one of the channel’s top-performing series.
